經(jīng)國(guó)家教育部批準(zhǔn),由國(guó)際人類(lèi)基因組組織(HUGO)下屬的人類(lèi)基因組突變協(xié)會(huì)(Human Genome Variation Society)主辦,廈門(mén)大學(xué)和廈門(mén)市科技局聯(lián)合承辦的“第九屆HUGO人類(lèi)基因組突變國(guó)際研討會(huì)”定于2007年9月23日至27日在廈門(mén)國(guó)際會(huì)展中心酒店召開(kāi)。這次是該久負(fù)盛名的會(huì)議首次在亞洲國(guó)家舉行。
該研討會(huì)系HUGO兩年一度的涉及人類(lèi)基因變異的高端學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì),其宗旨是通過(guò)國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)交流與合作,在全球范圍內(nèi)促進(jìn)對(duì)人類(lèi)基因組突變的研究,為其在生物學(xué)、藥物及農(nóng)業(yè)上的應(yīng)用感興趣的人們提供研討的平臺(tái),為研究基因變異的學(xué)者們提供交流思想的機(jī)會(huì),研討會(huì)還將為新經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)及建立新的合作伙伴關(guān)系提供機(jī)遇。此為該會(huì)議
在中國(guó)舉辦此次大會(huì)是為中國(guó)生物科學(xué)家提供與國(guó)際知名專(zhuān)家學(xué)者直接交流的機(jī)會(huì),不僅有利于在中國(guó)傳播國(guó)際基因組突變的先進(jìn)理論和技術(shù),也有利于向各國(guó)基因組變異研究界展示中國(guó)的基因組突變研究現(xiàn)狀。本次研討會(huì)旨在使更多的中國(guó)科研人員了解基因組突變研究現(xiàn)狀和重要成果,吸引更多的青年科學(xué)家關(guān)注并參與基因組突變的研究,從而推動(dòng)中國(guó)基因組突變研究的發(fā)展。
國(guó)際人類(lèi)基因組突變協(xié)會(huì)主席Richard G. H. Cotton教授為本屆研討會(huì)主席,會(huì)議設(shè)大會(huì)報(bào)告和報(bào)展兩種形式,同時(shí)將設(shè)公司相關(guān)展覽,會(huì)議語(yǔ)言為英語(yǔ)。歡迎所有相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域的學(xué)者、研究生、公司高層研發(fā)人員參加會(huì)議。
