須為使用光學顯微成像系統拍攝得到的圖片，成像對象為生物學樣本。成像所使用的設備品牌、型號及圖像處理軟件不限。在尊重科學事實的基礎上，允許以更加明確的反映的圖片中的特殊科學信息為目的而進行的圖像處理。在上傳參賽作品時，請盡量寫明參賽作品的相關信息如處理方法，成像設備名稱，細胞或組織類型等。本大賽以光學顯微成像的應用為核心，主要對科研人員的實驗設計，圖像獲取，結構識別和結果分析能力進行評選，以提升廣大科研人員使用光學顯微成像技術在實驗中的應用能力和水平。
